Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively greet guest, groups of guests, and schools within earshot with a warm welcome.
Ensure group leaders have all information needed to have a fun, safe, and educational experience utilizing passports.
Check group’s activities utilizing the Passport and schedule departure bus time accordingly.
Invite them to visit remaining adventures.
Command attention and take the lead with group leaders and teachers.
Ensure areas of responsibility are stocked with supplies to perform duties.
Obtain and share accurate knowledge with guests and co-workers.
Solve problems as they occur.
Work in a fast-paced environment, paying attention to each guest and remembering which attractions they experienced and which ones they have yet to experience.
Professionally, politely, and positively communicate to guests and co-workers.
Manage time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
Follow written and verbal instructions from company standard operating procedures and/or management.
Stay organized in manner, with materials, and company property.
Clean during slow times or as needed keeping work-space free of trash and clutter.
Stay in constant communication with other departments informing them of guest’s activities and their desires.
Anticipate the needs of guests.
Perform safety procedures in the event of a weather related emergency.
Communicate departmental improvement ideas to management.
